The alleged archive has transformed an old family tragedy into a much larger mystery involving royal advisers, government agencies, surveillance technology, and the complicated relationship between Diana and the institution she married into.
If Charles Spencer truly possessed such evidence, releasing it would create enormous consequences. Every official account, documentary, biography, and historical interpretation of Diana's final years would face renewed scrutiny.
