Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well today. As you can see, I'm filming from my phone instead of my ring light because I forgot to bring it with me on my trip to the south of France. The quality might not be as good, but I wanted to still provide you all with a daily video while I'm away.
Princess Kate is reportedly very worried about an upcoming fictional TV series that will portray the royal family. The show is called Royal Spin and is being written by author Omid Scobie, who has previously written books about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Kate is concerned about how the show might depict the royals and potential storylines. She's talked to William about her worries, but she's still incredibly nervous given how shows like The Crown have caused controversy in the past. Only time will tell how accurate or dramatic Royal Spin will be.

In addition to the TV show, Kate has good reason to be worried about Harry and Meghan's travels. They just announced plans to visit Colombia after a successful trip to Nigeria earlier this year. While not official state visits, Harry and Meghan always conduct themselves with grace and popularity on these international trips. Their invitations come directly from heads of state, showing how respected they are on the global stage. Of course, this infuriates the British tabloids who want Harry and Meghan to stay home and out of the spotlight.
I'm sure the rest of the royal family is seething about Harry and Meghan's travel plans as well. Every trip they take only increases their popularity and prominence, overshadowing other working royals like Kate. Speaking of Kate, some think she should worry more about getting back to her own public duties rather than watching tennis. After taking extended time off for her children, it seems she just attends sporting events now rather than real engagements. This perception doesn't look good when compared to Harry and Meghan actively representing the Queen overseas.

The new TV show certainly has potential to cause rockus, as Scobie's previous book detailing Kate and Charles's alleged racist comments about Archie's skin tone led to a huge scandal. Let's not forget how that blew up last December thanks to Piers Morgan. Royal Spin will likely stir up similar drama and controversies that put the inner workings of the House of Windsor under a microscope.
I'm always fascinated to see how fictional and factual portrayals of the royal family are received by the public. While the characters are based on real people, the storylines are total fabrications unless portraying actual historical events. It's a tricky line for any writer or producer to walk when tackling this topic. All eyes will be on Royal Spin to see if they toe that line or ignite the same type of outrage as The Crown at times.

/p>On a more positive note, I'm trying to enjoy the last month of summer here in the UK before August wraps up. Being outside and present is so important, especially given all the chaos and difficulties in the world right now. Whenever I get a chance to travel, I try to spend less time on my phone and more connecting with friends, appreciating where I am, and living fully in each moment instead of constantly documenting it. Technology and social media have their place, but true happiness comes from real-world experiences and relationships in my view.
I know some of you don't love the shaky phone videos, but filming handheld was the only way I could still give you all an update while away. Thank you as always for your daily support - it means so much. Be sure to subscribe if you're not already so you don't miss any upcoming discussions. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day! Talk to you again soon.
