Prince Harry has been feeling increasingly bored with his life in California, according to sources close to the Duke of Sussex. Ever since stepping back from his royal duties and moving to the US with his wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet, Harry seems to have struggled to find fulfillment outside of the royal family.
While Meghan has launched several new projects like her podcast Archetypes and is said to be developing a Netflix reality show about her life, friends of Harry say he misses his former life and friends in the UK. One thing causing Harry strife is that none of his old British friends want to visit him in California because they find Meghan too difficult to be around. Both Prince Harry's army buddies from his time in the military as well as friends from his school days have refused invitations to see Harry, not wanting to deal with Meghan's alleged attitude and behavior.

This has left Harry quite lonely and isolated in California, only having Meghan and their children as company. He rarely sees any other friends or family. Even trips back to the UK have been few and far between, with Harry opting not to see friends when he does visit Britain for royal family events. When one of Harry's closest friends Hugh van Cutsem got married in Britain this summer, Meghan and Harry notably did not attend the wedding. Sources say it was because Harry's friends simply don't wish to be around Meghan.
Harry seems to be growing increasingly homesick for his old life in the UK. He was said to be contemplating buying a new home in Britain, but friends say their hostility towards Meghan would make visits very difficult. Even Harry’s estranged brother Prince William, who he’s been feuding with, has reportedly attended social events with their old friends while Harry has not been present. Harry even skipped a memorial for one of his mother’s favorite charities to avoid facing his family at such an emotional event.

Friends say Harry truly felt at home in his role in the military and with the Invictus Games, which allowed him to find purpose after leaving the royal family. But now, with many veterans saying he exploited Tillman’s legacy for his own publicity, Harry is reportedly upset at being attacked in the space he cares most about.
