Prince George's preferred dish is surprisingly simple. He has developed a delightful taste for an Italian classic - spaghetti carbonara. Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli recently revealed the young royal's favorite dish during a chat with Prince William, who inadvertently shared that Prince George's top dinner choice is spaghetti carbonara.

Zilli praised Prince William, saying he's a true gentleman who takes the time to learn about people. Zilli expressed enthusiasm to personally cater to Prince George's taste, playfully stating that once George tries his carbonara, he won't want any other. While spaghetti carbonara is George's favorite, he enjoys other dishes as well.

Princess Kate shared that both George and Princess Charlotte enjoy cooking together. She revealed that her children adore cooking and often help each other in the kitchen. Just the other day they made cheesy pasta - one stirs the flour while the other adds the milk and butter. They even prepare salads. Kate reminisced about making pizza dough together with George and Charlotte, saying they love getting their hands messy.

The young royals have surprisingly relatable tastes. Charlotte shares her brother's love for Italian dishes and also enjoys curry. During a visit to Pakistan, Kate mentioned she often cooks curry at home, though she tones down the spice for the kids. However, she noted that Charlotte can handle a bit of heat. Kate also revealed that Charlotte enjoys snacking on olives.

Prince Louis shares his siblings' fondness for curry but has a special love for beetroot and other vegetables. On a Christmas special, Kate shared that Louis absolutely adores beetroot. Meanwhile, William and Kate have carefully shielded their eldest son from a truth that shapes his future - that he is second in line to the British throne.

While the world sees the royal family as symbols of tradition and duty, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to let George experience as much of a normal childhood as possible before revealing the immense responsibility he will eventually inherit. At just 11 years old, Prince George stands in line for a future filled with public duty, media scrutiny and royal obligations. However, William and Kate are determined to let him grow up like any other child, free from the weight of his royal destiny for as long as possible.

The couple's approach to raising George has focused on balancing tradition with modern parenting values. They aim to equip him with the skills and character necessary to handle his future role but are keenly aware of the pressure such knowledge would bring. In 2022, the family made a significant move from London to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, closer to Lambrook school where all three of their children now attend.

Lambrook, a prestigious prep school, is known for its strong emphasis on academics and extracurricular activities, providing George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis with a well-rounded and nurturing environment. Through this change, William and Kate have prioritized a quieter life for their family, removed from the more intense public eye of the capital. As George grows up, he'll gradually come to understand his role within the royal family.

However, William has expressed his desire to delay this realization, giving George a chance to develop his own identity before stepping into the public role that awaits him. There'll be a time and a place to bring George up and understand how he fits in the world," William shared, emphasizing the importance of timing in revealing the details of George's future. William's efforts to normalize life for his children likely stem from his own experiences growing up in the royal family.

He knows firsthand the scrutiny and expectations that come with his title, having been in George's shoes as a young boy destined to inherit the throne. By creating a very normal home environment, William hopes to protect George from the pressures he faced - at least for now. This philosophy has also been highlighted in the book "William, Kate, and Catherine: A Family Portrait" by author Dil Nappet.

In her book, Nappet emphasizes the couple's dedication to granting George as much privacy and simplicity as possible during his formative years. Nappet writes that like his father, Prince George is enjoying as normal an upbringing as possible and adds that William and Kate are determined to maintain this approach for all of their children. Yet balancing normality with tradition is no small feat for William and Kate - especially when considering the unique circumstances surrounding George's birthright.

Despite their efforts to delay the inevitable realization of his future, they understand that royal expectations and family duties will eventually shape his life. George's journey is somewhat of a paradox - while the desire for privacy is clear, George is part of a family deeply intertwined with British history and legacy. As the child of two senior royals, George cannot entirely escape public life and he will gradually come to understand its implications as he observes his parents and grandparents fulfill their duties.

Prince George's path has already been partly mapped out. After completing his years at Lambrook School, George will likely
