As with many previous videos, we discussed the monarch's plans for the future King William I and Queen Catherine during the first half of the year. Recent developments have set the stage for significant transformations and challenges as the royal family moves forward.
The royal family has made notable strides towards stability and renewal in recent times. This sheds light on King Charles' serious concerns about Prince Harry's future once his financial resources run out. Various experts have weighed in on the potential consequences of a reunion between William and Harry, and its implications. Therefore, the pair might be seeking funding sources that avoid disclosing confidential information about the royal family. However, William’s firm stance on not providing further financial assistance to the Sussexes has heightened these concerns.

Now, amidst the ongoing royal health crisis, the bigger picture of the royal family no longer includes Harry. They are solely focused on Catherine's health and the future of their family and the Crown. Princess Catherine made an unexpected appearance in Scotland recently as she continues her treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. At only 42 years old, Catherine has been largely out of the public eye this year, with this being only her third official appearance.
These appearances come amid reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are keen on initiating peace talks with the royal family. Above all else, Catherine is completely loyal to her husband. She understands why William is still upset with Harry. The princess is not putting any pressure on William while he has so much on his plate, including her own cancer battle as well as King Charles' cancer battle. In the past, Catherine had been seen as a mediator between the royal brothers, but things soured after the publication of Harry's memoir "Spare".

Amidst the ongoing royal health crisis, the Sussexes have been excluded from family gatherings. Though the Duke of Sussex regrets no longer having that bond with his sister-in-law. The news has cast a shadow over the royal household, with many concerned about how the family will cope. He says he really misses the warm, uncomplicated relationship he once had with Catherine, and he is torn between loyalty to his wife versus regret over the loss of the woman he was so close to. Losing Catherine was Harry's second great loss after losing his mother.
During the recent Olympics, Prince William and Princess Catherine gave a shout out to Team GB and fans fell in love with William's bearded look. But now that's gone, as he was recently seen with his wife sporting a clean shaven look while heading to Sunday church services. One person jokingly commented that Catherine must have seen women swooning over her husband's beard online and decided to make him shave it off. Beards are actually more political within the royal family than one might think, as there is a protocol for members to follow in regards to facial hair styles. In fact, Harry claimed in his book "Spare" that William was furious for more than a week after he was first allowed to grow a beard while William wasn't.

A friend of the future kings has painted a picture of just how bleak Prince William's relationship with his estranged brother Harry has become. William is unlikely to see Harry in person again until the day of their father's funeral, according to sources. It is said to be hard to overstate just how utterly betrayed and hurt William feels on a very personal level. The two brothers were so close growing up that they would finish each other's sentences. Amidst all the trauma of their mother's death and their father being quite distant, their bond seemed an amazing thing to witness.

The latest reported developments come just days after it emerged that William was furiously upset by Harry's decision to refer to his wife as "my wife" in a public message of support following her cancer diagnosis earlier this year. It's well understood that Princess Catherine, who was widely known as Kate during her younger years, made it clear just prior to her and William's wedding that she would henceforth prefer to be called Catherine. As one commentator noted, "No one is saying [Harry] is responsible for all the trouble, but deliberately calling someone by a name they don't like is just bloody rude." If Harry and Meghan were genuinely serious about healing issues within the family, a good first step would be to refer to her by her stated preference of Catherine.
