On Sunday, Princess Charlotte accompanied her mother Kate, Princess of Wales to the Wimbledon men's final. The nine-year-old princess watched on from the royal box as Novak Djokovic triumphed over Carlos Alcaraz in a hard fought match on center court. Meanwhile, ten-year-old Prince George traveled with his father Prince William to Berlin to witness England's heartbreaking loss to Spain in the Euro 2024 championship match.

Noticeably absent was six-year-old Prince Louis, who fans jokingly declared was suffering a grave injustice. Many royal watchers expressed sympathy for the youngest Cambridge child, who appeared to once again miss out on joining special family outings. Louis was absent last month when George and Charlotte attended several concerts on Taylor Swift's Eras tour with their parents.

On social media, supporters lamented Louis's bad luck and called for "Justice for Prince Louis." Videos of a young boy partying alone at home while his siblings were at high profile events were shared alongside captions poking fun at Louis's situation. Others suggested the spirited royal must be bored waiting at home with a babysitter rather than enjoying the sporting spectaculars with his family.

However sensible it may seem in terms of the children's ages and behaviors, the imbalance struck a chord with some as overlooking the cheeky prince who has won fans for his animated antics at royal appearances. Comments questioned if it was fair for George and Charlotte to regularly attend such exclusive events without their younger brother.

While Louis partied home alone, Republican group Republic UK criticized BBC coverage that highlighted new photos of Charlotte and Louis wearing England shirts while watching the Euro final on TV with their mother. The pressure organization, which campaigns for abolition of the monarchy, accused the national broadcaster of giving unnecessary prominence to "kids watching football."

Republic also condemned William's travel to Berlin with George to support the England team, arguing such actions inappropriately positioned the royals within a political event. The commentary highlighted lingering tensions over portrayals of the royal family by publicly funded media outlets.

Of course, any sibling experiences hurt feelings at times over perceived inequities. Yet royal fans found humor in Louis's apparent exclusion and expressed hopes the spirited youngster gets special outings alongside his popular elder siblings soon. With his captivating court performances, Prince Louis has more than earned his place in the family spotlight too.
